Bing and Grondahl Christmas Jubilee plates
The Christmas Plate from Bing & Grondahl, the world's oldest collector series, made its 115th appearance in 2009. Each year the plate's motif is also used on Christmas Tear Drop ornament and Bell ornament. The Jubilee Christmas plate series began in 1915 to commemorate the beginning of the Christmas plate series in 1895. A new plate has been released every fifth year since then with a motif from a previously produced Christmas plate.
